Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) was founded in 1940, being one of the first groups of national higher education projects- “Project 211” and “Project 985”. In 2002, BIT was ranked among Top 100 in QS Asian Universities Ranking and Top 500 in QS World Universities Ranking, which was the 13rd among the 19 ranked Chinese universities.

Advanced Innovation Center for Intelligent Robots and Systems, established by Beijing Municipal Government and BIT, aims to conduct frontier research, develop robots and commercialize research products. Currently, the center is in immediate need for outstanding scientists and engineers in robots and related areas.

? MEMS device design

? Software/hardware design for embedded system

? Cerebral function imaging

? Human health indicators collection and processing

? Detection of mobile device inside human body cavities

? Three-dimensional dynamic simulation

Employment period: Fixed-term of two to five years, extendable

 

Annual working time: More than 9 months in China

 

Vacancies:

1. Leading Senior Scientists

? Served as distinguished professors or equivalent positions
? Gained certain of achievement in frontier research or robots related commercialization
? Engaged in the industry management and development of robots
? Able to lead a team to gain achievement in innovative research or robots related commercialization
? Salary: US$ 100,000～200,000/year

 

2. Professors, Scientists, Experienced Engineers

? Served as distinguished professors, associate professors or equivalent positions
? With outstanding research achievements or experiences of R&D managements.
? Able to lead a research team to solve problems in key areas
? Able to cooperate with team leader and team member to realize team duty
? Salary: US$ 60,000～100,000/year

 

3. Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Engineers, PhDs

? With excellent experiences and knowledge for conducting specific projects
? Able to assist and cooperate with the leader of a research team to finish academic research or product development
? Able to assist team leader to accomplish team duty
? Salary: US$ 30,000～60,000/year
