2018 Unmanned Systems Editorial Board Meeting and Technical Workshop Held at BIT
The 2018 Unmanned Systems Editorial Board Meeting and Technical Workshop was held at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) from May 22 to 24, 2018. The workshop was co-organized by the Key Laboratory of Complex System Intelligent Control and Decision, BAICIRS, and School of Automation of BIT, and received attention and supports from various departments and the leadership of BIT.
On May 22, BIT Vice President Chen Jie made an opening address on the editorial board meeting. BIT Vice President Long Teng attended the meeting and gave a speech on behalf of BIT, welcoming the editorial board of Unmanned Systems, and expecting further exchange and cooperation between BIT and experts all around the world for more significant research achievements.
On May 23, BIT Vice President Chen Jie hosted the opening ceremony of the technical workshop, and BIT Vice President Fang Daining made an opening address. Editorial board members of Unmanned Systems and over one hundred students and professors from BIT participated in the workshop. The workshop was organized into 4 sessions, chaired by Prof. Lihua Xie from Nanyang Technological University, Prof. Peng Zhihong from BIT, Prof. Xin Bin from BIT, and Prof. Ben M Chen from National University of Singapore respectively. 17 experts and scholars in the field of unmanned systems made their academics report on the workshop, covering different aspects of unmanned systems, including multi-agent, distributed optimization, game theory, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV), etc.
